another update....

hey! where is everyone? no comments? come on kids!

anyway, terry is less than 9 miles away from stovpipe wells. thats about 42 miles. its insanely hot here. she's been running in heat from 120-126 degrees since around 11am. its brutal. her legs are holding up, she's getting iced super frequently and she's hanging in there. her spirits are still up and all i can say is that my mom is way, way tougher than your mom. :)

anyway, turns out we have wifi at stovepipe so i'll update again later and try to post some pics, but let her know you're out there huh? i can show her comments while she eats when she gets to stovepipe.

talk to you soon!

hey ter,

sounds like our not getting any help from mama nature today. your crew must be on OT...their great and will be there for you. you stay focussed, don't loose sight on the goal. the night should bring some relief, adust accordingly and make the most of the cooler temps...more rest stops at the hottest time of day. you are the toughest, most determined person i know. my money is on you all the way.

YEAH, an update!!!! Just remember, Terry.......you've already done this before, you have proven that it is attainable. Lots of people are asking about you and talking about the run. And did you see your donations??OMG. You are going to go WAY over your goal. (um, er, I kind of had to lay the guilt trip down, lol). Remember, I bought mile 95, and as it IS all about ME, you have to think about me for that whole mile.Love ya lots...and ty again for "saving" me last week!!love, jack

Hey Terry, great job this far! Sounds like things are going very well. Keep up the good spirit. I'm thinking of you and praying for you and your crew. I saw you on the news tonight! Now all of Spokane and the surrounding area knows about the CRAZY Terry that we all know and love. Keep on truckin'. If anyone can do this, it's YOU Terry! You've got more determination and drive than anyone. Hope the night gives you some relief from the sweltering heat. You're a true inspiration!
Love, Karen M.

Okay, I'm such a cyberspace ignoramus!! I finally found you, wrote a noble peace prize-worthy note and it's not there, UGH!!
Enough about me. How you doing sweetie? You take a good rest, then keep going while it's cool, you hear?! You are going to do this thing, you own it! I was just outside under the stars talking to God about you, and thanking Him for you too. The reason and cause that you are doing this for is a good one. You are putting a face on something that ordinary people can not see, and sharing your struggle and determination is going to have a long lasting ripple effect. I'm proud of you.
With love, Jen
